The Lincoln Motor Company has been doing a lot of promotions around Chicago this past summer as part of their "Linocln Unlocking Chicago" Campaign. The deals have been pretty sweet. They park their cars in front of partnering businesses, you show up, talk to them about the car for 5 minutes, and get a free gift from the business. In the past, gifts have been free burgers at The Butcher and the Burger, entrees at Two, sushi at Shakou Sushi,  Italian-made tie ($90 retail!!!) at Nicholas Joseph. Lucky for us, EXPO is back this week and it's happening in Chicago at Navy Pier!

With EXPO CHICAGO as the centerpiece, EXPO ART WEEK (September 14–20, 2015) is presented in conjunction with Choose Chicago, the city’s tourism and marketing organization, and Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE). I didn't get serious about this blog until recently. Sure, I've had this blog since 2011, but it wasn't until 2 weeks ago that I said, "Self, if you gotta do this blogging thing, you gotta give it your all!" So, 2 weeks ago, I sat down, bought a domain name, made it official and told all my close friends about this thing.

My goal was to get 2000 views within 6 months. You awesome readers made me hit that in just TWO WEEKS!!!!! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING! I don't even know how to explain how happy I was when I saw the 2000th hit right before lunch today. (Also today, I broke a daily view record, of almost 600!!! WHOA!)
